This are for those of us that still dont know how to configure our nokia phones .e.g 3110c,2626.2610, etc
Follow this steps to configure your nokia 3110c:
1.click menu
2.settings
3.move up and click configuration
4.click personal configurations
5.click option
6.click add new
7.click web
8.under account name, type: mtn gprs
9.homepage:http://wap.mtnonline.com
10.ussername:web
11:password:web
b.verrify new password:web
12.use preferred accesspoint:choose No. When it shows:Define accesspoint settings, say Ok

13. Cick Accespoint settings

14.proxy:enable
15.proxy address:10.199.212.2
proxy port:80
16.data bearer:choose packet data
17.click bearer settings
18.packet data accesspoint:web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
19. Network type: ipv4
20.authentication type:normal
21 .ussername:web
password:web
verify new password:web

come back this new settings that you have created then click option as in step 5 and click activate.come back to step 3 and click default configuration settings:choose personal config.
IF YOU WANT TO USE OPERA 4.2 OR 5
Then to configure ur accesspoint follow step 1 to 6 then choose accesspoint
account name :mtn
click accesspoint settings
data bearer:packet data
click bearer settings
accesspoint:web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
network type:ipv4
authetication type:normal
ussername and pass word:mtn

also follow the step above to activate it.

FOR FREE MTN BROWSING

• change the proxy setting to  from 10.199.212.2 to 209.85.129.99
• port is 80
• Homepage: - wap.mtnonline.com/gwt/n?
• Then other things follows.
